Zion Odinaka

Zion Odinaka is an Associate with a practice focused on corporate and commercial law, infrastructure development, project finance, sustainable development, and regulatory advisory. He advises clients on complex commercial transactions and provides strategic legal support on projects involving energy, infrastructure, governance, and investment matters.

His experience includes advising on high-value infrastructure and energy transactions, including public-private partnerships (PPPs), renewable energy projects, and natural resource developments. Zion has also assisted clients with cross-border investments, corporate structuring, ESG compliance, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance matters, helping businesses navigate evolving legal and commercial environments.

Among his notable engagements, he has advised on the structuring and negotiation of sustainability-linked financing arrangements and power purchase agreements within the renewable energy sector. He has also provided legal structuring and bid advisory services for major infrastructure concessions and development projects in Nigeria.

In addition to his legal practice, Zion serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus. He holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School with First Class Honours and an LL.B from Anambra State University (now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University), also with First Class Honours. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (AICMC) and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Zion has received recognition for his contributions to the legal profession, including being named a 30 Under 30 Rising Star by the Legal Ideas Forum and a nominee for Legal Practitioner of the Year in Energy. He is also the author of several publications addressing renewable energy investment, electricity regulation, and power sector governance in Nigeria.
