Chinenye Ajayi

Chinenye Ajayi is a Senior Associate in the firm's Power & Infrastructure practice group. She routinely advises on the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy and natural gas-fired power projects, and healthcare and transportation infrastructure projects. She also provides policy, regulatory, and compliance advisory services to clients within the electricity sector.

In 2022, she was nominated as a United Nations Representative to Geneva with Ariel Foundation International, where she co-chaired a summit on Energy and Environment. She has authored several articles, including "Relevance of Consumer Orientation and Engagement in Power Sector Reform," "An Overview of the Meter Asset Provider and National Mass Metering Regulation, 2021," and "Considerations for the Viability and Sustainability of Minigrid Projects."

Chinenye holds an LL.B from the University of Jos (best graduating student of her class), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.M (Secured Credit Transactions) from the University of Lagos.
