Anu Balogun

Anu Balogun is a Partner in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions Practice. She has considerable experience in corporate finance, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and capital markets. She previously worked at Clifford Chance LLP, London, advising private equity investors on cross-border M&A transactions. She has also played a leading role in several high-profile real estate and financing negotiations.

Anu holds an LL.B (Hons) from Ogun State University, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.M from University College London. She has presented papers on project finance, debt capital markets, finance litigation, security interests, and loan documentation, and contributed to "Troubled Assets Resolution" in the Legal Aspects of Finance in Emerging Markets Series. Chambers and Partners praises her "distinct mastery of the law" and ability to "break it down for all to comprehend."
