Chukwuemeka Osuji

Chukwuemeka Osuji is a Partner at the firm with over a decade of experience spanning oil and gas financing, licensing and regulatory compliance, corporate and project financing, and dispute resolution. He has particular expertise in negotiating and drafting oil and gas agreements including Gas Sales and Purchase Agreements, Gas Transportation Agreements, Crude Sale and Purchase Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, CNG and LPG Sales Agreements, and EPC Contracts.

He was formerly a legal assistant with the Oil and Gas Sector Reforms Implementation (Presidential) Committee, involved in drafting the Petroleum Industry Bill. He also has significant legislative drafting experience, including the review of the Framework and Guidelines for Non-Interest Finance Institutions for the CBN, and guidelines for the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board and its Joint Qualification System.

Chukwuemeka holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Ibadan and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos. He is a member of the Nigerian Gas Association, which is a chartered member of the International Gas Union (IGU).
