Jane Adekunle

Jane Adekunle is an Associate in the firm’s Oil and Gas Practice, advising on infrastructure financing, project development, restructuring transactions, and regulatory compliance for a diverse range of clients including investors, financial institutions, government agencies, and indigenous and international oil and gas companies.

Jane has advised the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) on a landmark USD 3.3 billion crude oil prepayment facility involving Africa Export-Import Bank, Gunvor International B.V., and Sahara Energy Resources Limited. She also advised Fidelity Bank Plc on a NGN 65 billion equity finance facility for R28 Limited's acquisition of Chappal Energies Mauritius Limited and has worked on key regulatory initiatives for the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, including the development of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Measurement Regulations.

Her work extends to advising on major infrastructure projects, such as the West African Gas Pipeline Project with N-Gas Limited, providing comprehensive legal and transactional support across the oil and gas sector.

Jane holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from Lagos State University. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
