Esther Omodayo

Esther Omodayo is an Associate in the firm's Oil and Gas practice group. She advises domestic and international clients across the entire oil and gas value chain, with expertise in corporate financing, project financing, and mergers and acquisitions within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.

She has advised a syndicate of lenders on the c. USD 3 billion facility for the Dangote Petrochemical and Refinery Complex, provided ongoing legal advisory to Anoh Gas Processing Company Limited on the 300mmscf/d Assa North/Ohaji gas processing plant, advised NNPC Limited and Project Gazelle Funding Limited on a landmark USD 3.3 billion crude oil prepayment facility, and advised the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission on the development of post-PIA regulations. She also helped develop an automated regulatory compliance tracking system for oil and gas companies in Nigeria.

Esther holds an LL.B. from Osun State University (First Class Honours, summa cum laude) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (First Class Honours). She has published "The Path to Crude Supply Obligations in Nigeria's Refinery Sector." She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
