Tomiwa Adeniji-Kester

Tomiwa Adeniji-Kester is an Associate Counsel at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, practicing in the Energy and Natural Resources, Real Estate, and Sports, Media & Entertainment practice groups, specializing in Oil and Gas Law. He advises clients on upstream and downstream petroleum projects, corporate governance, and compliance with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021, while also supporting commercial, media, and sports‑related matters.

Tomiwa has gained hands‑on experience in the petroleum sector during a postgraduate internship at Warri Refining and Petrochemicals Company (WRPC), a subsidiary of NNPC, where he contributed to corporate compliance, contract review, and regulatory projects. Prior to pursuing his LL.M in Energy Law, he gained extensive litigation experience representing clients in High Courts and Appellate Courts across Nigeria, handling civil and commercial matters. He combines technical expertise with strategic insight, offering guidance on energy transactions, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements.

He holds an LL.B from the University of Ibadan (2021), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2023), and an LL.M from the University of Ibadan (2026). He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Association for Energy Economics (NAEE).
