David Andy Essien

David Andy Essien is a Senior Associate with expertise in dispute resolution, litigation, and commercial law. He has represented clients in diverse top‑tier legal cases, leading defenses in appeals and negotiating contracts across the finance, telecommunications, construction, and mining sectors, and has appeared in and drafted pleadings before various trial and appellate courts in Nigeria.

He has authored numerous publications on civil procedure, employment law, constitutional law, defamation, data protection, and cryptocurrency regulation, among other topics. His work has been published in leading legal journals and platforms including Mondaq, BarristerNG, and the Lawrit Journal of Law. He continues to challenge and reshape legal narratives through his research and publications, influencing legal professionals and policymakers.

David holds an LL.B from the University of Calabar (Best Graduating Student) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Kano. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
