Decency Nkume

Decency Nkume is an Associate and Team Lead for the Tax Law Practice Group, with expertise in tax, intellectual property, corporate law, data privacy, and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and Web3. He advises on tax compliance, regulatory frameworks, intellectual property protection, and technology‑related legal issues.

He holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Abia State University (2019) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2021), graduating in the top 5% of his cohort. He is a recipient of the 2023 Binance Charity African Tech Scholarship Programme and holds certifications from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Blockchain Center. He has co‑authored a chapter in "The AI Revolution: The International Legal Perspective" (2024) and published articles in the Tax Law Journal Nigeria. He is a Fellow of ECOTA and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
