Donatus Ovwoshokpite

Donatus Ovwoshokpite is an Associate in the firm's Dispute Resolution Practice, with a strong concentration in Oil and Gas law. He graduated with First Class Honours from Rivers State University and was called to the Nigerian Bar. His practice includes litigation and advisory work, encompassing thorough legal research, precise drafting, and strategic analysis in areas such as admiralty law, energy law, oil and gas regulation, and community relations under the Petroleum Industry Act.

He has published articles including "A Legal Analysis of the Nature of Oil Spillage in Nigeria" and "The Host Community Development Trust Under The PIA: A Trap or a Tool for Peacekeeping". He received the Best Graduating Student, Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Rivers State University (2023). He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
