Dunni Segun-Oki

Dunni Segun‑Oki is a Partner with expertise in corporate, commercial and compliance, sports and creative industries, and private wealth management. She has substantial experience advising on oil and gas regulatory frameworks, upstream contracts, post‑arbitration litigation, and compliance standards for international energy companies and government agencies.

She co‑led the team that drafted regulations for the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and advised on the framework for the Nigerian Content Funds. She has been involved in post‑arbitration litigation challenging a London award involving a state‑owned oil company and several IOCs regarding a unitized field in Nigeria. She reviewed and negotiated Production Sharing Agreements (PSC), Joint Operating Agreements (JOA), Service Agreements, and Collective Bargaining Agreements for an International Oil Company, and created compliance standards for monitoring and application of internal policies and regulatory obligations. She also drafted a joint venture agreement for an NNPC subsidiary for a real estate project valued at over ₦100 billion. Dunni previously served as General Counsel of Petroleo Brasiliero Nigeria Limited (affiliate of Petrobras S.A.) and was appointed to the committee reviewing Unitization Guidelines and Joint Development of Straddled Reservoirs/Fields in Nigeria.

Dunni holds an LL.B (Hons) and an LL.M in International and Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos, and an M.A. (Hons) in Islamic Societies and Culture from SOAS, University of London. She is a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), the International Bar Association, and the Nigerian Bar Association.
