Ephraim Sheka

Ephraim Sheka is an Associate in the firm's Oil and Gas practice group. He advises domestic and multinational clients on project finance, development, and regulatory compliance. His expertise also extends to intellectual property protection and commercialization, including IP rights management, brand protection, and portfolio management.

He advised a leading energy company on its acquisition of a 10% participating interest in oil mining leases from a major international oil and gas company, facilitated regulatory compliance, prepared legal opinions, and reviewed transaction documents. He advised the lender on a $20 million credit facility to an energy services company, conducting due diligence and preparing security documents. He advised on the operational readiness of an oil and gas asset alongside a $300 million financing, and advised on trademark cancellation and patent registration across multiple jurisdictions.

Ephraim holds an LL.B from the University of Jos and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, where he received the Director General's Award for Obtaining a First Class. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
