Esther Sodiya

Esther Sodiya is a legal associate with a strong focus on governance, secretarial practices, and business advisory within the firm's Enterprise Practice Group. She provides comprehensive legal and business advisory services to domestic and multinational clients, with particular expertise in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and business operations within Nigerian customs and free zones.

She advises on labour and employment matters, assists multinational companies with business establishment and legal documentation in free zones, advises on product registration with NAFDAC, provides company secretarial services to private, public, and not-for-profit entities including Fidelity Bank Plc and Nigerian Economic Summit Group, and assists a global bank with reviewing its corporate governance structure and developing a group-wide framework.

Esther holds an LL.B. from Afe Babalola University where she was the Best Graduating Law Student 2022, and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School where she received the Director General's Award for exceptional performances (First Class) and the Chief Earnest Shonekan's Prize for Third Overall Best Student in Property Law Practice. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Nigeria Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb), and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
