George Etomi

George Etomi is the Founding Partner of the Firm with over 42 years of experience in commercial and corporate law practice. He holds an LL.B from University of Ife, B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.M from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Mr. Etomi has extensive expertise in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Aviation, Construction, Banking & Finance, and Energy & Natural Resources. He has advised multinational corporations, top government agencies, and investors on complex commercial transactions, privatisation processes, project finance, and regulatory compliance.

He serves on the board of a leading Nigerian utility company, chairing its Legal, Corporate Governance, and Regulatory Affairs Committee, and is Vice Chairman of the National Advisory Council of Designated Non-Financial Institutions under the SCUML. Mr. Etomi is a past Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies.

Mr. Etomi is also a prolific author, including his book "An Introduction to Commercial Law in Nigeria – Cases, Texts and Materials", reflecting his decades of experience in corporate law. He is a member of the Body of Benchers and the International Bar Association.
