Hammed Akorede Awe

Hammed Akorede Awe is an Associate with expertise in alternative dispute resolution, litigation and appeals, and employment and labour law. He represents clients in complex commercial disputes, employment matters, energy sector litigation, and debt recovery before Nigerian courts and tribunals.

He has been part of the team representing a leading energy company in board and shareholder disputes, advised several commercial banks on legal issues in the financial space, and represented a client in a compensation claim arising from the Lagos‑Calabar Coastal Highway land acquisition. He also represented a subsidiary of an energy conglomerate in power project disputes, a leading aviation company in an employment dispute based on a collective agreement, a former managing director of a federal agency on criminal allegations, and assisted a major bank in recovering a debt of over ₦1.1 billion.

Hammed holds an LL.B (Hons) from Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
