Jemimah Bestmann

Jemimah Bestmann is an Associate in the Corporate/Commercial and Data Protection Compliance Practice Groups. She advises clients on corporate and commercial transactions, real estate, oil and gas, banking and fintech, intellectual property, and taxation. She provides strategic legal counsel to both national and foreign clients across a broad range of domestic and international legal matters.

She has successfully negotiated complex international trade agreements, provided regulatory compliance initiatives for fintech startups, orchestrated property acquisitions and sales, and is a member of the team representing multinational companies in oil spill claims worth millions of naira. Her practice spans both advisory and transactional work, with a focus on delivering comprehensive and commercially effective solutions.

Jemimah holds an LL.B from Rivers State University and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
