Magnus Stephen Ejelonu

Magnus Stephen Ejelonu is an Associate Partner and heads the Ibadan office, specialising in energy law, commercial litigation, banking, real estate, succession planning, fundamental rights enforcement, and industrial and labour relations. He brings a versatile and strategic approach to navigating complex legal matters across multiple sectors.

He spearheads a team dedicated to delivering unparalleled legal services, with particular expertise in commercial litigation, property rights, and energy law. He is recognised for his exceptional legal advisory, drafting, and negotiation skills, providing sound legal counsel and meticulous legal documentation to a diverse clientele. His practice spans both advisory and litigation, with a strong focus on delivering practical and commercially viable solutions.

Magnus holds an LL.M from the University of Ibadan and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy Law at the Department of Mineral, Energy, and Economics (DMPEEL), University of Ibadan. He holds an LL.B from the University of Benin (Second Class Upper), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and a Diploma in Law (DIL) with Distinction. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and has contributed to legal publications on plea bargaining, environmental impact of pipeline vandalism, and other legal topics.
