Oluwatoni Okunfulure

Oluwatoni Okunfulure is a Senior Counsel in the Energy and Project Finance practice group at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, specialising in energy law, project finance, and mergers and acquisitions. She advises clients on the acquisition and disposition of oil and gas assets, corporate restructuring, and regulatory compliance across the Nigerian energy sector.

Oluwatoni has advised on the acquisition of 100% shareholding in a company with majority shareholding in multiple target companies, including a comprehensive due diligence exercise and negotiation of the Share Sale and Purchase Agreement. She has assisted clients on applications for the consent of the Minister of Petroleum Resources to the assignment of participating interests in Nigerian oil and gas assets, and has advised on the proposed exit of an existing shareholder and the resulting acquisition of 95% shareholding in a target company holding interests in a gas asset. She also assisted in preparing documents for Nigeria's 2020 marginal field bid round.

Oluwatoni holds an LL.B from Babcock University (2018) and a BL from the Nigerian Law School (2019). She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
