Timothy Atasie

Timothy Atasie is a member of the Energy Practice team, offering strategic legal counsel to businesses and public institutions on policy and transactional matters across the energy sector, including oil, gas, power, solid minerals, and renewables. He advises clients on navigating complex regulatory landscapes, securing impactful transactions, and addressing the diverse legal challenges inherent in the rapidly evolving energy industry.

He brings a fresh, forward-thinking approach to his practice, with prior experience in finance and capital markets that provides a unique advantage in advising clients within the energy sector. He leverages expertise from these fields to offer valuable insights and strategic counsel, helping clients navigate the complex financial and regulatory challenges inherent in the energy industry.

Timothy holds an LL.B from Afe Babalola University, Ado‑Ekiti, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, a Master of Laws in International Environmental Law from Afe Babalola University, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the same institution. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law.
