Oforbuike Ngwuta is an Associate in the firm’s Governance and Secretarial Practice Group as well as the Business Advisory and Foreign Investments Practice. He advises clients across a broad range of industries on foreign direct investment, business establishment, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business advisory matters.

Oforbuike supports local and international clients in navigating Nigeria’s regulatory landscape, providing legal guidance on business formation, corporate structuring, governance requirements, and compliance obligations. His practice is focused on helping businesses establish and maintain efficient corporate frameworks while meeting applicable legal and regulatory standards.

He has also demonstrated a strong interest in emerging technology and innovation-related legal issues through his publications on artificial intelligence, privacy and data protection, cybercrime regulation, NFTs, the metaverse, and intellectual property rights in digital environments. His research reflects an understanding of the evolving legal challenges arising from technological advancement and digital transformation.

Oforbuike holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja and an LL.B from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
