Prince Agu

Prince Agu is an Associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group, where he supports clients in addressing complex contentious and regulatory matters. He combines strong analytical skills with a growing interest in tax law, ESG compliance, and regulatory advisory.

Prince contributes to legal research and advisory work aimed at helping clients navigate evolving compliance obligations and dispute-related challenges. He is particularly interested in the intersection of taxation, environmental, social and governance (ESG) frameworks, and corporate responsibility, and actively participates in discussions supporting Nigeria’s tax and sustainability objectives.

He earned an LL.B with First Class Honours from the University of Nigeria, graduating as the third-best overall student in the Class of 2023. He subsequently obtained his B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Port Harcourt Campus, further demonstrating a consistent record of academic excellence.

Prince is the recipient of several academic awards and scholarships, including the highly competitive Femi Gbede Law School Scholarship, awarded from a nationwide pool of applicants. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and is committed to continuous professional development in dispute resolution, tax, and ESG-related matters.
