Rex Ugwuda

Position: Associate

Rex Ugwuda is an Associate in the firm with a practice focused on dispute resolution, arbitration, and international law. He provides legal support for complex domestic and cross-border disputes, advising clients on arbitration proceedings and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

Rex has been involved in a variety of matters including international treaty enforcement, emergency arbitration, and cross-border dispute management. His work is informed by active participation in global arbitral organizations, enhancing his expertise in complex transactional and litigation-related arbitration.

He holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from the University of Nigeria, Enugu. Rex has published scholarly works on arbitration law, including analyses of the Nigerian Arbitration and Mediation Act and international treaty enforcement under the Singapore Convention.

He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb), the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA), the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), the American Bar Association (ABA), and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), reflecting his commitment to professional development and excellence in arbitration and dispute resolution.
