Rissy Taiwo

Rissy Taiwo is an Associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group, focusing on Dispute Resolution. Her practice encompasses litigation, alternative dispute resolution, debt recovery and insolvency, corporate and commercial law.

Rissy excels in extensive legal research, drafting legal opinions, preparing court processes, and formulating pleadings.

She holds an LL.B from the National Open University of Nigeria (2016), an LL.M in International and Commercial Law from the University of Greenwich, London (2022), an MA in IHRM from the University of Greenwich (2012), and a B.L from the Nigerian Law School (2025).

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria, the Institute of Chartered Conciliators and Mediators, the International Law Association, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. She has published on “Oil Politics and the Minority Agitations” (June 2021) and is an active member of Rotary International, having served as Past President of the Rotary Club of Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos.
