Titilope Martins-Wakwe

Titilope Martins-Wakwe is a Partner at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, leading the firm's Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial Practice and Adcax Corporate Services Limited, specializing in Corporate Governance. She advises local and international clients on corporate and board governance, business advisory, corporate restructuring, due diligence, and compliance matters under Nigerian law.

Titilope acts as company secretary and governance advisor to several companies across various sectors, coordinating all company secretarial matters including convening board and general meetings, maintaining registers, and filing notices with the Nigerian Corporate Registry. Notable matters include advising on the acquisition of 99% of shareholding of a Nigerian company by a Toronto Stock Exchange‑listed company; advising on a US$2.7 million share acquisition by a private equity investor; conducting corporate due diligence for a proposed acquisition of a Mauritius company; and advising on board and board committee charters in compliance with the Nigerian Code of Corporate Governance. She has also advised multinational clients on joint venture disengagement, debt‑to‑equity conversion, and foreign investment approvals in Nigeria.

She holds an LL.B (Hons) from Olabisi Onabanjo University (2009), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2011), and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (2019) and the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria.
