Emmanuel Anigwe

Emmanuel Anigwe is an Associate in the Firm’s Governance and Secretarial Practice and Business Advisory & Foreign Investment team. He advises local and international clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, company secretarial matters, employment law, and corporate transactions across a wide range of industries including financial services, technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate, and agribusiness.

His experience includes advising on transaction structuring, capital raises, joint ventures, project finance transactions, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Emmanuel regularly assists clients with board advisory matters, corporate governance reviews, regulatory filings, and risk management initiatives designed to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

He has advised multinational corporations, financial institutions, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions on business establishment, compliance obligations, investment structures, employment-related matters, and commercial transactions. He also drafts and negotiates transaction documents and supports clients in navigating complex corporate and regulatory environments.

Emmanuel holds a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B. from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and has completed additional training in artificial intelligence policy and payment systems regulation. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Forum.
