Tochukwu Anaenugwu

Tochukwu Anaenugwu is a Managing Associate qualified to practice law in Nigeria and New York, United States. He specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration involving energy and natural resources, finance, banking, and debt recovery disputes.

He has acted as counsel in international arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICC, UNCITRAL, and SIAC Rules, seated in Nigeria and London, and has represented clients in enforcing and recognizing arbitral awards before Nigerian courts. He has contributed to international arbitration reform projects under the Asian Development Bank and UNCITRAL for several countries, and has spoken and published extensively on arbitration, including co‑authoring “A Study of International Commercial Arbitration in the Commonwealth” (Commonwealth Secretariat, 2020).
