Isaac Ibikunle

Isaac Ibikunle is a Senior Associate and Team Lead of the firm’s Arbitration Practice. He advises clients on international arbitration, cross-border litigation, dispute resolution, and investment disputes, representing parties under ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and ad hoc rules.

Isaac is qualified to practice in both Nigeria and New York and holds LL.M degrees from Harvard Law School and University of Lagos, a B.L from Nigerian Law School, and an LL.B from Obafemi Awolowo University. His experience includes representing a UK-based equity fund in a USD 20 million LCIA arbitration, defending a State in a USD 500 million energy dispute at ICSID, acting for a regional bloc in an ad hoc arbitration, and representing an energy consortium in enforcement matters.

He contributes extensively to international legal scholarship, publishing in leading journals such as the Harvard International Law Journal, and serves on the executive board of the African Society of International Law and the advisory board of the Kabarak University Law Review in Kenya.
