Toluwalase Adekola

Toluwalase Adekola is an Associate Counsel at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, practicing in the Energy and Natural Resources and Financial Services teams, specializing in Oil and Gas Law. His focus is on joint venture structuring, project development, and regulatory licensing across the oil and gas, conventional and renewable energy sectors, as well as transactional advisory, contract structuring, and regulatory compliance.

Toluwalase has advised Ceesolar Energy Limited on a blended finance transaction for the development of solar mini‑grids in Cross River State. He has advised a Nigerian company operating within a Free Trade Zone on the legal and regulatory implications of continuing operations following exit from the Zone, including compliance obligations and the applicability of incentives. He has also conducted legal due diligence on an oil and gas company in connection with a proposed acquisition, with a focus on regulatory compliance, contractual arrangements, asset ownership, and potential legal and commercial risks.

He holds an LL.B from the University of Ibadan (2021), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2022), and an LL.M from the University of Ibadan (2025).
