Victor Ike

Victor Ike is a Senior Associate in Jackson, Etti & Edu's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice, based in Victoria Island, Lagos. His practice focuses on Intellectual Property Law, specialising in brand protection, anti-counterfeiting and IP litigation.

Victor advises and represents global brand owners on IP matters in Nigeria and Africa. As a key member of the Brand Protection & Anti-Counterfeiting Unit, he handles high-stakes enforcement cases across sectors including FMCG, health and pharmaceuticals.

He leads teams in developing anti-counterfeiting strategies for well-known brands, utilising his knowledge of Nigerian markets and regulatory relationships to navigate enforcement challenges and leveraging modern tools to combat counterfeiting and enhance brand value.

Victor is a NITDA Scholar pursuing an LLM in Cyber Law at the University of Lagos, exploring the intersections of technology and brand protection. He holds a BL from the Nigerian Law School, Kano, and an LLB from Imo State University, Owerri. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and serves on the Intellectual Property Committee of the NBA Section on Business Law, and holds certificates from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
