Danbello Na’adiyalle

Danbello Sani Na’adiyalle is a Partner at Alliance Law Firm with over 35 years of experience as an in-house corporate legal counsel. He began his career at the Legal Department of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc and spent the majority of his career at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), retiring as the Managing Director of NNPC Pension Fund Limited.

Throughout his tenure at NNPC, Danbello held multiple leadership roles, including Head of Litigation Unit, Deputy Chief of Commercial Law Department, Technical Assistant to the Secretary to the Corporation & Legal Adviser, Manager of Board and Management Committees, General Counsel, and served at the West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited in Accra, Ghana, a joint venture between NNPC, Chevron, Shell, VRA Ghana, Sotogaz Togo, and Societe Beninoise de Gaz. He later advanced to General Manager and Group General Manager in the Corporate Law Department before his appointment as Managing Director of NNPC Pension Fund Limited.

His practice focuses on Oil and Gas, Corporate and Commercial Law, providing legal advisory on high-value funding arrangements, corporate governance, and complex transactional matters. He has been recognized for his contributions, including a Presidential Recognition for a multi-billion Dollar funding arrangement for Nigeria LNG Limited and the GMD, NNPC Merit Award.

Danbello holds an LL.B (Hons) from Ahmadu Bello University, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and has completed executive education programs at University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, Aresty Institute of Executive Education, and Harvard Business School.
