Emmanuel Onele

Emmanuel Onele is a Senior Counsel in the Energy and Project Finance practice group at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, specialising in infrastructure law, project finance, and capital markets. He advises clients on project structuring, negotiation, securitisation, finance, and divestment across a range of high‑profile corporate and financial transactions.

Emmanuel has advised the trustees on a ₦100 billion bond issuance programme for a leading oil and gas company; acted as Solicitor to the Issue in a ₦30 billion commercial paper issuance by a Nigerian agro‑allied company; counselled a foreign investor on share transfer and dematerialisation of shares in several public companies; and advised a financial technology company on its incorporation, funding, structuring, and corporate governance matters. His expertise spans financial technology, corporate governance, and cross‑border transactions, providing strategic counsel to clients navigating complex business and financial landscapes.

Emmanuel holds an LL.B and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. He was nominated as Young Lawyer of the Year by the NBA Young Lawyers' Forum in 2024.
