Joy Ebong

Joy Ebong is an Associate in the firm’s Oil & Gas Practice. She advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, project financing, regulatory compliance, and transaction structuring within the oil and gas industry.

Joy has played a key role in high-value transactions, including advising a syndicate of lenders on the restructuring of a term loan facility for Accugas Limited, structuring and negotiating project financing for a 5,000 barrels per day modular refinery, and supporting the drafting and review of Gas Sales and Purchase Agreements. She also provides guidance on divestment and acquisition of oil and gas mining leases, interpretation of the Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Operations Regulations 2023, and optimal structuring of petroleum prospecting licences.

Her experience further includes advising on crude oil marketing and sales arrangements, well intervention and drilling services agreements, engineering and procurement contracts, funding agreements, and technical services agreements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protecting client interests.

Joy holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from the University of Uyo. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
