Kigai Zontong

Kigai Zontong is an attorney with ample experience in representing premier names in Nigeria's business and regulatory space in complex commercial disputes across the hierarchy of trial and appellate courts. His practice focuses on Dispute Resolution.

He successfully represented the interest of a multinational telecommunications company against an action seeking to stop the listing and sale of its shares on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, and was also counsel to a multinational oil and gas company in a proceeding seeking to prematurely enforce a multi-billion Naira judgment debt against it.

In these and other high-value disputes where he acts as counsel, he has applied strategic, innovative and out-of-the-box thinking in advancing the interests of his clients and in providing solutions to their dispute resolution needs.

He holds an LLB from the University of Jos and a BL from The Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and his practice areas include litigation, arbitration and ADR.
