Olajumoke Sorungbe

Olajumoke Sorungbe is an Associate in the firm’s Finance and Capital Market Practice Group. She advises clients, including banks, development finance institutions, multinational corporations, and other corporates, on corporate finance transactions, debt and equity restructurings, capital market transactions, and banking regulation.

Her experience includes advising on the structuring and establishment of the NGN1 Trillion Ministry of Finance Real Estate Investment Fund, capital raises exceeding NGN200 billion via public offers, private placements, and rights issues, as well as supply chain finance, debt factoring, and invoice discounting for international financial institutions. She also advised a regional development bank on multi-million-dollar facilities and supported the Zamfara State Government in issuing bonds and establishing NGN20 billion bond programmes.

Olajumoke routinely advises on the structuring, establishment, and issuance of units under collective investment schemes, infrastructure funds, and real estate investment schemes, delivering strategic and practical legal guidance for complex financial structures.

She holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B (First Class Honours) from the University of Lagos, where she was the only First-Class graduate in the Class of 2020 and received the Dean’s Prize for Best All-Round Performance. Olajumoke is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom (ACIArb, UK).
