Oluwatamiloreayo Labisi

Oluwatamiloreayo Labisi is an Associate in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, where she advises individuals, indigenous companies, and multinational corporations on a broad range of complex commercial transactions. Her practice focuses on helping clients navigate strategic business transactions, corporate restructurings, and investment-related matters.

She has experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, business acquisitions, divestments, venture capital transactions, and capital investments. Tamilore regularly supports clients through transaction structuring, legal due diligence, regulatory compliance, and the preparation and review of transaction documentation.

Her notable engagements include advising a company in the midstream and downstream energy sector on a scheme of arrangement, supporting the acquisition of a 51% equity stake in First Concept and Properties Limited by Actis Nigeria Real Estate Income Fund, conducting due diligence for a proposed energy-sector restructuring transaction, and advising on an offshore investor's capital injection into a Nigerian subsidiary. She has also advised on the establishment of a venture capital fund involving the Nigerian Government and a foreign government to support startup growth in Nigeria.

Tamilore holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo. She graduated with distinction at the Nigerian Law School and received the Director General's Prize for First Class Students (2024) as well as the Damian Dodo Prize for Third Best Student in Professional Ethics and Skills.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
