Samuel Salako

Samuel Salako is a Partner in the Corporate and Capital Markets practice at Olajide Oyewole LLP, and co-heads the IPT and Employment and Global Mobility sectors. With nearly two decades of commercial law experience, he specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, corporate restructuring, and private equity investments.

He advises established and emerging businesses, including public companies, closely‑held businesses, and international subsidiaries, on corporate re‑organisations, strategic alliances, start‑up financing, business succession planning, and a wide range of corporate legal issues. He has also worked in the financial services sector, where he established monitoring and compliance frameworks for mutual funds managers and municipal bond issuers, set up frameworks for subnational sovereign wealth funds, and reviewed and negotiated syndicated lending security agreements and capital market offer documents.
