Solape Peters

Solape Peters is a Partner at Olajide Oyewole LLP (DLA Piper Africa, Nigeria) with over 20 years of experience, specialising in infrastructure law. She co-heads the Finance and Projects Practice, focusing on the telecommunications and construction sectors, and leads transactions in transportation, aviation, and public-private partnerships (PPP) including rail projects. She provides legal advisory services on complex construction and engineering contracts, project development and funding, and construction-related dispute mediation.

She has over a decade of in‑company experience working with Celtel Nigeria (now Airtel Nigeria) and Etisalat Nigeria (now 9mobile) in various specialist and management roles. Her clients describe her as “client centric,” and she has been recognised by Legal500 and as one of the leading female lawyers in Business Law in Nigeria by Esq Legal Practice magazine. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

Solape holds a law degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2001.
