He has advised a major multinational oil company in a multi‑billion dollar host community dispute, represented an integrated oil and gas company in a multi‑million dollar multi‑jurisdictional matter arising from the construction of a crude oil export terminal, and was Deputy Team Lead in securing a landmark tax judgment validating an important stabilization statute for a consortium of international oil companies. He has acted as Lead Counsel in multi‑million dollar arbitrations arising from EPC contracts for a petroleum products depot and for dredging navigational facilities, and secured a 95% reduction in tax liability for a major American multinational. He also leads the legal team for the largest private residential/commercial real estate development in Nigeria and acts as Lead Legal Consultant to the Federal Government on the sale of Federal landed property involving hundreds of millions of dollars.

Tola holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Ibadan and passed the qualifying professional examination from the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos.
