Position: Associate. Contact: Phone: +234 703 685 6266. Practice Areas: Energy and Natural Resources. Uboho is an experienced Associate in the Firm’s Energy and Natural Resources practice group. He holds three Masters of Laws Degrees: (1) an LL.M in International Commercial Law (Distinction) from the University of Dundee, Scotland; (2) an LL.M in international Energy Law and Policy (Distinction) also from the University of Dundee and (3) an LL.M in Business Law, Taxation and Compliance, from CY Cergy-Paris University (formerly Cergy Pontoise University), France, where he graduated top of his graduating class as a co-valedictorian. Additionally, Uboho is a certified anti-money laundering specialist. Prior to joining TEMPLARS, Uboho worked in law firms both in the United States of America and Nigeria, where he advised clients on a broad range of regulatory and transactional issues, covering the entire value chain of the energy sector. Selected Experience: Advised Seplat Energy Plc. on competition law requirements with respect to its acquisition of the assets from Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited. Advised an oil and gas company on the financing and acquisition of an interest in a major crude oil pipeline. Advised a free-zone enterprise operating within the Lekki Free Zone in relation to the purchase of natural gas from a gas sale and distributing company. Advised a consortium of energy companies in relation to the operationalization of its gas infrastructure project in the Lagos Free Trade Zone. Advised an oil and gas company in relation to its exploration and production activities as well as the operation of the mini refinery and gas processing plant. Advised an American solar engineering company on the regulatory requirements for the setting up of its operations in the United Kingdom. Advised a multinational investment and advisory firm on its multi-million-dollar Facility for the construction of solar projects drawn from a structured bond fund for the financing of small-scale productive-use solar projects within the commercial and small industrial (C&I) sectors throughout Africa.
