Chibuike Ukah

Chibuike Ukah is a Senior Associate in the Litigation/Arbitration Practice Group. He is an experienced legal advisor, negotiator, and litigator in commercial litigation, oil spill disputes, labour and industrial litigation, criminal litigation, debt recovery, regulatory compliance, and taxation.

He has represented indigenous oil companies including Amni International Petroleum Development Company Limited and Eroton Exploration and Production Company Nigeria Limited in oil spill litigation. He has successfully defended clients such as Notore Chemicals Industries Limited, Chevron Nigeria Limited, and Lubrik Construction Company Limited in general litigation and labour matters. He has also represented banks, non‑governmental organisations, and major telecommunications companies in multi‑million naira suits ranging from debt recovery to unlawful termination of employment, and advised clients in regulatory and taxation matters before government agencies.

Chibuike holds an LL.B from the University of Ibadan and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
