Daniel Jonah Obinna

Daniel Jonah Obinna is a Senior Associate in the Litigation/Arbitration and Energy/Natural Resources Practice Groups. He provides legal representation in disputes involving oil spill, labour and employment relations, taxation, banking, and intellectual property.

He was a member of the team defending several multi‑national oil companies in oil spill claims worth millions of naira, and part of the team that successfully represented a telecommunications company in a tax dispute with the Rivers State government. He has also advised clients on employment relationships and the registration of patents and other intellectual property rights.

Daniel holds a First Class LL.B from Niger Delta University and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2021. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
