Thompson Dede

Thompson Dede is a Supervising Senior Associate and heads a sub‑team in the firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He is an experienced litigator who regularly handles complex domestic and cross‑border disputes in Nigeria’s superior courts across industry sectors including energy, natural resources, labour and industrial relations, taxation, and telecommunications.

He has successfully defended multiple suits involving illegal tax impositions of over ₦200 billion on major indigenous oil companies, claims of over ₦100 billion arising from oil pollution, employment‑related wrongful termination claims against multinational companies, and trespass to land claims exceeding ₦10 billion.

Thompson holds an LL.B from the University of Ibadan and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
