Omodolapo Alu

Omodolapo Alu is a Senior Counsel at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Port Harcourt, practicing in the Dispute Resolution group within the Shipping and Litigation Department, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She is a commercial litigator with over 4 years of experience, representing local and international clients in various courts of record in Nigeria on complex commercial litigation matters.

Omodolapo has successfully prosecuted and defended cases from trial to appellate courts across maritime, employment, land, property, contract, and commercial disputes. She handles corporate compliance procedures for local and international companies, carries out due diligence from preliminary to perfection of title, and interfaces with law enforcement and various levels of government to obtain permits and operational documents for clients operating in Rivers State and neighbouring states.

She holds an LL.B from the University of Ilorin (2015) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2016). She was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2016. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
