Folashade Oluyadi

Folashade Oluyadi is a Partner at the firm, specializing in financings (corporate and project) and mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas sector. She advises clients across the entire value chain of the oil and gas industry on regulatory and compliance matters.

Prior to joining the Oil and Gas Practice, she was a member of the Finance and Capital Markets Practice, gaining significant experience in capital market transactions, debt restructurings, and general corporate finance. She recently completed a secondment with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, sitting with the corporate team on private equity and M&A transactions.

Folashade holds an LL.B (Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo University (first class honours, top of her class), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.M from the University of Cambridge (Commonwealth Scholar). She is a Pegasus Scholar of the Inner Temple, Inns of Court, England. She received numerous academic prizes including the University prize for best overall graduating student, Hon. Justice Kayode Eso prize, Hon. Justice Mohammed Bello prize, and the Chief Gani Fawehinmi prize, among others.
