Ganiyat Seriki

Ganiyat Seriki is a Senior Associate in the firm's Power & Infrastructure and Mining & Metals Practice. She advises on complex project financings, power and infrastructure project developments, power sector advisory, public-private partnerships, concessions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and corporate financings.

She provides strategic legal and commercial solutions in the structuring and implementation of energy and infrastructure projects. Her expertise has been recognized by IFLR500 as a "Rising Star" in Project Development, by Legal500 as a "Key Lawyer" in Real Estate & Construction and a "Recommended Lawyer" and "name to note" in Energy and Natural Resources. She was also nominated for the "Africa Private Practice Rising Star" award at the African Legal Awards. At Olaniwun Ajayi LP, she was honored as Best Performing Employee for 2021/2022 and received the Star Performer Award for the 2019/2020 Trainee Cohort.

Ganiyat holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Warwick (Second Class Upper) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (Lagos Campus) where she graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree.
